I led the social-first storytelling for Defender as part of the Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025, partnering with Enniskillen RFC to launch Defender Trailblazers. The campaign celebrated Emily Valentine, the first known woman to play rugby, who scored a try in Enniskillen in 1887. A short film recreated that historic moment through local young player Amy Nelson, connecting past and present while spotlighting the club’s thriving women’s teams. Rooted in place, purpose, and progress, the work reinforced Defender’s global commitment to women’s rugby, not just as a sponsor, but as an active supporter of the game’s future.
