I led the launch of Defender on TikTok with Kano, timed with the release of a new season of Top Boy. The ambition was to reposition Defender as a modern British icon — the British G-Wagon — and root the brand in music, culture, and credibility. We used a bold flag motif as a visual signal: Defender planting its mark on a new platform, pioneering a sharper, more design-led presence on TikTok. Built natively around Kano’s voice rather than brand theatrics, the launch set the tone for Defender on the platform and kicked off a lasting association with UK music culture.
